New kid on the block, DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside unveils an exquisite Malaysian experience for guest and visitors to enjoy

After a long closure to uplift this lakeside resort to greater heights, DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside proudly re-open its doors to guests unveiling 290 newly refurbished rooms and a long list of facilities, amenities and activities.

Recently, DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside had their grand re-opening and the launch of their Malaysian Experience which marks the completion of their grand refurbishment of the hotel. A world class lakeside resort, nestled on the opposite end of iconic Putrajaya landmarks such as the Putra Mosque, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque, the Seri Wawasan bridge and many more. 

The Malaysian Experience is the branding that the hotel holds onto dearly, not merely just as an idea per se but during the hotel tour that was provided during the launch, we saw it all. From astounding architectures that represents the Malay, Chinese, Indian and even the people of Borneo to having an art studio and workshop that guests can enjoy throughout their stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside. 

In celebration of Malaysia’s rich culture, DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside has also introduced the DoubleTree Studio Residency, featuring three talented up-and-coming contemporary artists from Segaris Art CenterFadzril FakaruddinHaziq Syawal, and Syahmi Jamaluddin. Their artwork will be featured during DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside’s Seni Weekend, scheduled to commence on 12th August 2023. 

The primary objective of this collaboration is to support Malaysian artists in showcasing the country’s cultural heritage. Following an open call by Segaris Art Center, three artists were chosen to participate in a 4-month studio residency at DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside.
