Muzium Telekom di bawah seliaan pengurusan Yayasan TM memperkenalkan - 'Traverse atau Pengembaraan merentas' gerakan melalui masa, iaitu pameran kesenian dan teknologi yang melangkaui masa, medium dan budaya dalam sebuah ekosistem yang hidup. Para pengunjung muzium akan diberi panduan secara digital untuk menerokai sejarah lalu, masa kini dan masa hadapan akan konteks institusi telekomunikasi (TM Group, Muzium Telekom dan MMU) di era evolusi digital. Menyeberangi 4 babak iaitu: ENTER, INTER(IN)VENTION, RETROSPECT, dan EXPERIENCE, 'Traverse atau Pengembaraan Merentas' memberi impak persoalan bagaimanakah pertukaran pandangan lalu mencerminkan keyakinan fungsi bagi institusi-institusi ini?
'Traverse: Motions Through Time atau Pengembaraan merentas masa dan pergerakan' merupakan sebuah konsep yang direalisasikan oleh artis yang meyakini norma baharu tentang ekspresi kesenian melalui idea medium baharu. 'Traverse' merupakan hasil kerja pelajar dan alumni MMU dengan kerjasama pameran oleh TM, R&D dan TM ONE.
Newsantara Metaverse
Melalui kemunculan pasaran terkini Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT), Yayasan TM bekerjasama dengan DETIK, iaitu kumpulan projek NFT yang unik untuk mempersembahkan NFT-JAM Challenge di mana artis digital akan berjumpa dengan Newsantara metaverse ciptaan DETIK. Cabaran ini diadakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kefahaman digital bagi membolehkan komuniti kreatif meneraju ekonomi digital dan peroleh pendapatan dari hasil seni kreatif mereka. Inisiatif ini akan diadakan di 'Traverse' dengan memaparkan bebrapa hasil kesenian secara fizikal dan digital di Muzium Telekom.
Gutta Percha
Seni visual tradisional juga tidak dilupakan! Muzium Telekom akan mempamerkan pameran Gutta Percha Trail hasil kerjasama artis visual dari Persatuan Pelukis Negeri Perak. Pameran ini akan memaparkan sejarah pokok asal tempatan yang berkait dengan permulaan awal kapal selam global dan rangkaian telegraf.

Muzium Telekom under the management of Yayasan TM presents Traverse – Motions Through Time, a showcase of art and technology that transcends across time, mediums and cultures, in a vibrant interdependent ecosystem. Visitors of the museum are digitally guided to explore the past, present and future through the context of telecommunication institutions (TM Group, Muzium Telekom and MMU) in the age of digital evolution. Across four chapters: ENTER, INTER(IN)VENTION, RETROSPECT, and EXPERIENCE, ‘Traverse’ poses the question of how do these historical shifts in perception reflect our beliefs in the function of these institutions?
‘Traverse: Motions Through Time’ is conceptualized and realized by artists embracing the new form of art-making to express their ideas through a new medium. ‘Traverse’ is proudly produced by students, faculty and alumni of MMU with additional showcases by TM R&D and TM ONE.
Newsantara Metaverse
With the exciting emergence of vast markets for non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Yayasan TM collaborates with DETIK, a unique Malaysian NFT project team to present the NFT-JAM Challenge where digital artists will meet up in the DETIK-created Newsantara metaverse. This challenge aims to increase digital literacy reach so that creative communities can participate in the digital economy and earn potential income from their creative arts. This initiative will be present in ‘Traverse’, featuring some of the artwork displayed physical and digitally at Muzium Telekom.
Gutta Percha
Traditional visual arts are not left out! Muzium Telekom will also host the Gutta Percha Trail exhibition featuring visual artists from Persatuan Pelukis Negeri Perak. This exhibition showcases the history of Malaysia’s native trees in relation to the early beginnings of the global submarine and telegraph network.
