Cancer Research Malaysia (CRMY) is thrilled to announce its first charity musical event, Get On Your Feet, featuring the distinguished producer and choreographer, Farah Dato’ Seri Sulaiman. This exceptional event is scheduled to take place on September 23 and 24, 2023 at the Universiti Malaya Experimental Theatre.
Get On Your Feet will captivate audiences with two vibrant sessions each day, starting at 3pm and 8:30pm, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees. The event’s primary objective is to raise funds for Cancer Research Malaysia, supporting their relentless pursuit of advancements in cancer research. It’s worth noting that the September 24 is also recognised as World Cancer Research Day, making this event even more significant in the global fight against cancer.

Spanning a collection of iconic songs from 18 diverse musicals, Get On Your Feet will come alive through Farah Sulaiman’s distinctive performing style. With her unparalleled choreography expertise, the event promises to be a sensational song and dance extravaganza suitable for audiences of all ages. Crafted with precision and passion, the musical boasts an original script written and directed by Sabrina Hassan, in collaboration with vocal coach Alesia Dhana. The performance will showcase the remarkable talents of over 40 performers, accompanied by esteemed guest artists Yon Lynn, Elvira Arul, and Johan Yusof.
