The Tokyoiter Exhibition -- a showcase of imaginary magazine cover tributes to Tokyo!

The exhibition will also include the work of the five selected artists from Temu House's recent open call from 9 November to 10 December 2023, together with another 25 from the existing collection only available for viewing online.

Run by Andrew Joyce and David Robert, The Tokyoiter(@thetokyoiter) is a project that draws inspiration from The New Yorker's traditional cover art and The Parisianer, and it brings together a community of illustration and drawing enthusiasts who share a passion for the unique narratives of Tokyo.

The project pays a heartfelt homage to Tokyo's vibrant culture, heritage, and artistic expression through imaginary/faux magazine cover tributes. The Tokyoiter captures the spirit of Tokyo remarkably well, offering a glimpse into the city's diverse and captivating stories.
