1000 Years On Earth offers the viewers a glimpse into the realm in parallel, as the artist visualises. Tan Choon Ting juxtaposes the daily encounterings over his spiritual questioning, and renders them beneath a sheer layer of humour. Daily conversations, commuting and observations are captured in his colourful world where nothing is so mundane, interpreted in the philosophical context. It is a continuous exploration as the artist attempts to visualise the relationship between flesh, soul and invisible space.
