Tales from Malaysia Baru
Tales from Malaysia Baru is a 1.5 hour play set in an old Chinese house in the heart of George Town. It tells the colourful story of Aunty Kang, a 65 year-old tailor and her nosy, dark-skinned 'Malay' neighbour, Kak Kiah who dwell on what's not right in Malaysia one fine hazy afternoon. They are soon joined by Aunty Kang’s son, Ah Boon, and Nathan, a fellow neighbour.
It premieres on 15 Aug (8.30PM) and will be available until 31 Dec (11.59PM).
