Royal Selangor is hosting its inaugural Jazz Festival on 14 July 2024, featuring back-to-back performances by 17 incredible acts across four stages within the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, along with other fun activities such as jam sessions, jazz film screenings and rare vinyl record display booths.

The event will showcase some of Malaysia’s finest jazz talent, including Tay Cher Siang,
Renowned jazz pianist and composer; Janet Lee, Specialist in vintage music from the 1920s to the 1960s; The Frankie Sixes, Swing jazz band led by award-winning singer-songwriter Reza Salleh; and WVC Malaysian Jazz Ensemble, Leading contemporary jazz band formed in 2006, to name a few.

The Jazz Festival is organized in celebration of Royal Selangor Visitor Centre's 20th Anniversary this year, and aims to shine a spotlight on the musicians and performers in the local jazz industry - while inviting the public to explore the city's thriving jazz scene and rich culture through a day filled with soulful melodies and toe-tapping beats.
