‘Remembering’ – ‘Imagination’ – ‘Belonging to the same Creation’ by Marc Colpaert
Description
Transcending Borders – International Projects’ Talk & Workshop 3:
'Remembering' - 'Imagination' - 'Belonging to the same Creation' by Marc Colpaert
Works of arts, culture and community are beyond nationality and geography limitations. As the artists from around the world come together to talk about their project and how they related with the society, we are seeing a picture that is bigger than ourselves.
A Philosophy-to-Dance Exploration’s Talk
A talk by Belgium Cultural Philosopher Marc Colpaert on the connection, relation, definition and interpretation of imagination. Listen and ponder about the realisations that Marc encountered, explore the space and possibilities that imagination projects, and how movements express imagination. From a quote from the Quran to a book by a professor, Marc shares about his searching and what he has found.
“What do we hear when we ‘remember’? What do we ‘remember’? How does it bring us into a (dance) movement?”
Speaker: Marc Colpaert (Belgium)
Date: 24 July 2021 (Saturday)
Time: 3pm – 5pm
Fee: Free Access (Pre-registration required)
