Don’t miss this exciting installment of the “Renaissance & Baroque Gems” series, “Byrd Songs” focusing on William Byrd, Dowland, Monteverdi and Purcell.
The concert will feature London based Malaysian renowned Renaissance and Baroque music specialist, Ibrahim Aziz (ibiaziz.com) on the Treble Viol. He will be joined by KL based U-En Ng on the Bass Viol and YS Tang (ys-tang.com) on the Classical Guitar. Together with The KL Madrigal Singers featuring soloists Sharlene Rani (Soprano), Darrel Chan (Countertenor), Asha Menon (Soprano) and Chew Shi Yun (Soprano), this concert will present a program of motets, madrigals, consort music, dance music and arias.
Join us in this afternoon of acapella, vocal and instrumental music spanning almost 2 centuries.
