A Dialogue Between Dancers and Artisans’ Descendants
Description
Sharing Sessions by Artists & Artisans
Throughout this 2 hour session, let us listen to the heart-to-heart talk between the younger generations of the declining trade’s owner and the dancers. Not only will the dancers share what they have learned, how they were inspired to choreograph a dance, and their understanding about the true value of intangible heritage, the artisans’ successor or family members will also join in telling their own perspectives about the industry.
- The daughter of the Kopitiam, Xin Yi
- The granddaughter of the rattan weaver, Jun
Time: 3pm – 5pm
Fee: Free Access (Pre-registration required)
